KOH Thai Kitchen & Bar is located in the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui and sits on top of a palm-fringed hill, offering stunning views. The 2025 MICHELIN Guide Thailand even mentioned their great location along with the restaurant’s authentic Southern Thai cuisine.

They blend traditional flavors with modern techniques. Their signature dishes include the Larb Tuna, raw tuna marinated with Thai herbs, cracked rice, and chili; and Massaman Nua, slow-cooked Wagyu beef in a rich cardamom-scented curry.

Beyond their famous dinner menu, they serve good breakfast food. They have a range of Thai and international dishes. 

Pro tip:

If you’re not staying at the Four Seasons, arrange your transportation in advance—this hilltop location is quite remote, and local taxis or rideshares can be limited or expensive in the evening.

You can expect a nice menu of fresh oysters, grilled seafood, and other local delicacies prepared with ingredients sourced from nearby fishermen. After talking to other diners, we noted that the freshness levels seem to be consistent and well-monitored.

That said, the restaurant has been awarded the Bib Gourmand distinction in the 2025 MICHELIN Guide Thailand. And the wooden-decked veranda with an open kitchen adds to the overall dining experience. 

Pro tip:

Note that reservations are required at least one day in advance. Given the restaurant’s limited seating and popularity, especially during weekends, it’s advisable to book early to secure a spot.

FishHouse

While walk-ins are welcome, making a reservation is recommended, especially during peak dining hours. And the restaurant’s location within the Kimpton Kitalay Samui resort makes it easily accessible for guests staying on the northern coast.
